I have acquired a CX maxi with kevlar hull and carbon fiber deck. The boat is approximately 7 years old and was sent to Western Australia for the Avon Descent. The gel coat on the hull in worn through on most of the surface area and i was wondering: 1. Is it possible to reapply a new gel coat? 2. If so, is there a brand you can recommend?
I was hoping to get some more life out of the kayak so any advice is greatly appreciated.
